Welcome to Project X Card (the X is pronounced as "cross")! A crossover card game featuring characters from almost all of my previously created games! But that's not all, with the in-game Card Maker, you can add up to 5 effects to create your own custom cards! The possibilities are only limited by your imagination and whatever I had time to program during the game jam.

When starting a game you can choose either to play against a friend in hot-seat mode, or to play against a computer controlled opponent. Then you get to choose between the "Donian All-Stars" deck, featuring 50 characters from across my games, or the "Solos + Customs" deck, featuring the All-Star cards with only one effect as well as the custom cards that you create.

In the Card Maker, you can choose to either make a new card or to edit an existing one. When making a new card, you can add up to 5 effects and adjust their values (for example, the "DMG" effect can deal 3, 6, 9, 12, or 15 damage to an opponent depending on the value set). Don't forget to set an appropriate mana cost and shield bonus too! Custom card's names are auto-generated based on the effects, if two people make the same card it will have the same name!

Post-Jam Update (2.0)

New AI game speed options. "NORMAL" is the recommended speed, as it allows you to read what card the AI is using. "FAST" has the AI play cards faster. These are chosen before the game starts, although on a laptop / PC pressing the SPACE button during gameplay will swap to the other speed.
A new "deck view" menu during gameplay, which lets you view what cards remain in the deck. When the deck is fully used up, it is reshuffled from the start.
Two new effects:
- "ANTI-RES", which removes resonance from the card's user
- "THORNS", which deals damage back when the user is hit
New additions to the tutorial
Ten new cards, including a special guest character from Samlyted's Reflex Heaven
Several bug fixes from the Jam version

Bonus Update (2.1)

New effect: "WOUNDS", which prevents the inflicted from healing
Six new cards with the "WOUNDS" effect.
This will likely be the final update to Project X Card. I have plans for a Project X Card 2 that greatly expands upon this game, however that game won't be made for some time.
