Rhythm's Rift

My submission for the GDS 1Up Jam 2023, with the theme "reflex".

RHYTHM'S RIFT is an arcade dungeon crawler where all actions are performed to the rhythm of the music. You start with just your sword, but both more weapons can be found within the dungeon, all having a different area of attack. There's also three enemy types, each with unique movement and attack patterns. Through mastery of all weapons and memorisation of enemy patterns, go for a high score by killing enemies and reaching deeper floors. Be careful to stick to the beat however, because you lose points for any move inputted off-beat.
