Xters ZERO

WINDOWS VERSION RECOMMENDED, DIFFERENCES BELOW

Xters ZERO is a simple monster-catching game with some similarities to Pokémon, which is both a remake of an old text-based project of mine, as well as being a showcase for a potential larger game. Set in the Resugiri Safari, you will find 16 different Xters to befriend, battle, and evolve. There are seven rangers in the safari for you to fight, each specialising in a different type, and with each stronger than the last. Once you've defeated all seven, they will switch to a full team of four Lv.20 Xters, sure to provide a good challenge!

The downloadable (windows) version is recommended due to featuring a save system, and having better audio controls and quality. Unfortunately Windows will call it a virus when downloading, either ignore the warning or play the web version. Sadly I don't know why it does this or how it can be stopped.

Controls:

• WASD - Movement in the menus and world.
• SPACE - Selection in menus, talk to rangers in the world.
• BACKSPACE - Deselection in menus, pause in the world.

Move List:

• [Type] Strike - A standard [Type]-typed attack. Every Xter has atleast one of these based on its typing, as well as Bland Strike if the Xter is mono-typed (Breado and Baguetto, which are mono-Bland type, have two unique moves instead)
• Flame Terrain - Kaive's unique move, activates [Flame 1] terrain. While active, Flame type attacks deal 50% more damage.
• Flame Dominion - Pyrasaur's unique move, activates [Flame 2] terrain. While active, Flame type attacks deal 50% more damage, and Aqua type attacks deal 50% less damage.
• Ocean Terrain - Delphine's unique move, activates [Aqua 1] terrain. While active, Aqua type attacks deal 50% more damage.
• Ocean Dominion - Electriin's unique move, activates [Aqua 2] terrain. While active, Aqua type attacks deal 50% more damage, and Nature type attacks deal 50% less damage.
  
• Forest Terrain - Seniree's unique move, activates [Nature 1] terrain. While active, Nature type attacks deal 50% more damage.
  
• Forest Dominion - Motatee's unique move, activates [Nature 2] terrain. While active, Nature type attacks deal 50% more damage, and Flame type attacks deal 50% less damage.
• Cute Charm - Breado's unique move, decreases foe's ATK by one stage.
• Aroma Trap - Breado's second unique move, decreases foe's SPD by one stage.
• True Charm - Baguetto's unique move, decreases foe's ATK by two stages.
• Irresistible Aroma - Baguetto's second unique move, decreases foe's SPD by two stages.
• Buzz Bite - Meetle's unique move. An Insect type attack with increased priority.
• Rock Bite - Rineo's unique move. An Earth type attack with increased priority that raises the user's ATK by one stage.
• Spark Bite - Elebug's unique move. A Spark type attack with increased priority that raises the user's SPD by one stage.
• Swamp - Nackros' unique move, decreases foe's DEF by one stage.
• Overgrowth - Vatilja's unique move, decreases foe's DEF by two stages.
• Paralyze - Zalion's unique move, decreases foe's SPD by one stage and inflicts paralysis.
• Enflame - Koaler's unique move, decreases foe's ATK by one stage and inflicts burn.
• Pummel - Hemligue's unique move. An Earth type attack that decreases the foe's DEF by one stage.
