Idle Estate
A Post-Jam version titled Idle Estate Golden is now available!
Idle Estate is an idle real estate management simulator inspired by Yakuza 0's Real Estate Royale. Slowly expand your real estate firm by buying up new properties or improving the ones you already have. Higher ranked properties will make you more money, while higher ranked advisors will improve properties faster. When improving, make sure to match advisors to properties based on their skillset, if a skill has a green or cyan background then it will get an improvement bonus!
You gain money every real-life quarter hour, but the game will save your progress and last play time so feel free to close the webpage and come back later!
Bugs:
- "The Future" currently costs 10k instead of 100k. Whoops
- Save files don't work on mobile? Or it may be an issue that a single person had for unknown reasons.
Update Plans:
Sadly I ran out of time during the Game Jam period, so the following features will have to wait for a post-jam update (likely to be a separate game page to not mess with save data).
- Music & sound effects
- An actual tutorial
- Maybe some game balancing it's a bit too easy to make infinite money rn
- Statistics such as market share
- A win condition (such as gaining some amount of market share)
- Something to use money on other than the real estate firm
- Money battles against rival real estate firms

A few comments on the UI. It would make sense to be able to manage everything on one screen. Having to click back and then forward was cumbersome
As far as game mechanics, I can't see the property I bought. I have no idea what icon is on that card. Manage properties is not a button I can click. Note: this will ONLY appear if you buy an advisor. It should be available even before you buy a property. It can say something like "No properties or managers yet."
Also, Advisor icon colors are not clear. Is red bad and green good? What does no color mean on an advisor? (you put some info on this in the description, but I should be able to get this info in the game.)
I cannot figure out how to play and do not want to wait 15 minutes to try again. (The amount of time it requires me to get more money,
